In the interior of the dense forest of Yelagiri, to have a trekking, there is a path starting from the eastern side of the lake up to its western side. There we can see the eucalypts trees from like touching the sky. The path is of about 3kmts. When we have trekking through, we can enjoy the waterfalls, peaks of the mountain and valleys. The following are the points of expedition for either trekking or mountaineering. It is open to all.

hill is Swamimalai peak and its height is 4338 feet. However a cool stroll or ride through the quaint

JALAGAMPARAI WATER FALLS
There is a small river, Attaaru running through the basin of Yelagiri Hills. It runs through the Vallyes
towards the west and falls down the Village-Jodaiyanoor that comes under perumappattu Taluk. There is
a Murugan Temple, which is about more than 60Yrs old. It is a place of Pilgrimage too.
